This robust, outdoor-ready dome camera offers excellent 4K image quality and delivers enhanced performance for AI-powered video and audio analytics. With remote PTRZ functionality, it enables easy installation and redirection.

Capture great image quality with easy remote adjustment
AXIS P3408-VE offers excellent 4K image quality. Thanks to Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR, it delivers true colors and great detail in challenging light or near darkness. Remote PTRZ (pan-tilt-roll-zoom) functionality allows for hassle-free installation with less disruption and downtime. In addition, with PoE out, it can be used to power another device. What’s more, Axis Zipstream with support for AV1, H.265, and H.264 significantly reduces bandwidth and storage requirements without compromising image quality.

Leverage AI-powered video and audio analytics
Built on ARTPEC-9, the Axis system-on-chip, this AI-powered dome camera features a deep learning processing unit (DLPU) to run powerful analytics on the edge with enhanced performance and greater accuracy. It comes with AXIS Object Analytics to detect, classify, track, and count humans, vehicles, and types of vehicles. With an acoustic sensor and AXIS Audio Analytics preinstalled, it can detect key sounds, such as screams, shouts, coughing fits, as well as changes in sound level. AXIS Image Health Analytics will notify you if the image is blocked, degraded, under-exposed, or redirected. What’s more, AXIS Live Privacy Shield makes it easy to remotely monitor activities while protecting privacy.

Stay secure with robust cybersecurity
This robust IP66-, IK10-, and NEMA 4X-rated outdoor-ready camera is both vandal and impact resistant and designed to withstand harsh weather and environments. It has an operating temperature range from -40°C to 50 °C (-40°F to 122°F).
